Dogs and Indians are not allowed Inside !
Hung up on the walls of hotels, clubs and pubs, 70 years back, in the same Indian soil, was a sign board containing this very message. The British East India Company ruled India. It plundered all wealth this nation had and packed them home. Indians were considered inferior to dogs and were massacred across the whole nation. Dogs were prosecuted better. We, Indians fought 90 years for a single cause, The Indian Dream. Is that dream being realized.
In the field of education, India has had an increasing literacy rate every year since independence. Thousands of students fly abroad, every year, for their higher studies. The universities in many countries depend on Indians for their regular operation. India, by itself produces more number of doctors and engineers, every year, than the population of many countries.
In the field of science, we are equipped to launch indigenous ships into space and observe moon.
We have our own nuclear technology, biological labs, software solutions and what not. Thousands of research, in thousands of fields are being undertaken by a million scientists. After all, 36% of NASA employees are Indians. If the Earth is to have a life, surely we will be the brain and heart of it !
With respect to economy, we are only second next to China in terms of GDP, and when the World is suffering from recession, India seems to be a bit relaxed. Lot of Indian companies lead the race in their industry, across the globe.
On the World's political stage, India has become a important player. We are close to a seat in the security council, and had special concessions when it came to nuclear deal. We have been secular than many other countries(at least on the outside) and millions of hands help the under-privileged. Indian art, music, cinema and food have sneaked into every living room on the planet.
Time and again, we have proved to the World that we are no inferior to you.
And to those those, who believe you are superior, we have dominated you in all fields, be it cricket or economy or unity. Don't fool yourself as the British did 70 years ago. If you are still want a fight, hang similar sign boards in your ports. I am pretty sure, you will fizzle out of the world in the next 24 hours.
