We are too small !

Have you ever wondered, how many Humans have walked the Earth ? Humans have been here for over a 200,000 years now. The population of the World today is somewhere close to 6.8 Billion people. What could be the number of mammals, that walked with two legs, on the surface of this planet? Well, nothing scientific is possible. So we gotta turn our faces to GUESS. It is guessed to be over 100 billion. A huge, 13 digit number. Well, if the human kingdom is this big, by itself, how about the combined population of all animal, plant and insect kingdoms. Our numbering system, will definitely fall short. It is again a guess, that over 100 million species have walked the earth.

Now, what can you say about your life? It is negligible and unnoticeable, when compared to the total life on Earth. We will not confuse ourselves, with too much data, by including all animals and plants, when we are yet to figure out who we are. I tried to find out what percentage of today's World population do i represent. My 8 digit calculator(was in my sophisticated, 5800 mobile), said go and fuck yourself. Some how i managed to compute 1/6.8b. It is 1.47E-08. I did not want to enter the entire human population into that fucking calculator, let alone the total life. 1.47E-08. I wish, I were born in some other planet. Not on this fucking Earth, where i don't matter. Neither do you or the "so-called" America's best president, Mr. George bush. or even his famous shoe incident. :D

We are humans of the twenty first century. It simply means we have not lived for some 2000 years of accounted history and thousands of unaccounted. We have never had a chance to wish the Egyptian Pharaoh, on his successful completion of Pyramids. We did not have the chance to walk along the rivers of Mesopotamia, to bath in the great bath of Harappa. We did not witness, the speeches of Jesus. We never had the privilege to see he gladiators fight in the undestructed Colosseum. Many of us could have not even witnessed the World wars. We, probably, would not be living to witness, life on other planets, robots dominating man, computer solving unsolvable mysteries in seconds. We may not live to watch our grandchildren become grandfathers.

Sitting in your room, in front of the computer, reading my blogs, may ask you to think, how many places(on Earth, of course) have you visited? How many people have you met? How many cultures have you lived with? How many types of food have you tasted? How many climates have you endured? How many people have you loved? To most of the questions, your answer is gonna be "few". Take me for example. I have never flown outside India. I have lived in only 3 cities/towns for more than a year. I haven't tasted much, other than Indian food(maybe, you could add burgers and pizzas). And I have loved not many. Your answers may look similar, if not more bleak.

After all, In our life span of 50/60 years, we don't experience a lot. We play safe, keep ourselves to routines. When a new experience waits at the door, we invite it with scare more than excitement. We hardly take risks to venture into unknown territories. We simply draw an imaginary circle and stand inside, hoping it would take us places. How fool, are we? Life is too short to be thinking of rights and wrongs. What seems right to you, may seem wrong to your peer. Life has got no rights and wrongs. Just situations to experience. Feel free to experience them.

So make friends, do love, get into trouble, face them, smoke and drink(don't become an addict though), go to pubs, have fun, have girl friends, spend for friends, do some pranks, laugh and smile, take a break when necessary, contribute to charity, eat as much as you can, hug your friends, make love, say lies, learn things and live life in your own way.

Life is too small. We will never experience, what others had. But let us use every moment, to experience things. Happiness, sadness, laughing, crying, anger, calm, rewarding, demoting, making friends or enemies, hanging out with a friend, working all day, whatever the next moment has for you, enjoy it. You may not be offered a second chance.

I enjoy writing. I enjoy, when you read. Thanks for reading !
