Saving the Endangered Species !

Well, off late, Men have considered themselves, the saviour of everything. Save the plants, Save the ants, Save the air, Save those bears, Save the rocks, Save the crocs and Save the planet. Well, how are we gonna do that?

Men have grown aggressive over the years(or, may i say arrogant). We have started fiddling with everything possible. And saving this endangered species is one more way to fiddle with nature. Nature has seen many things. In its lifetime of 5 billion years, Our Earth has seen a lot. Earthquakes, Volcanoes, Tsunamis, constant pelting from thousands of meteors, asteroids, and comets, plate tectonics, solar flares, magnetic storms, magnetic reversal of poles, and above all, over 4.5 billion years of evolution and over 200,000years of humans. Men, really are nothing but one more nuisance to this planet.

Now, a simple question. What is an endangered species? How did they become so? Before answering these, lets see some basic evolution concepts. Even the firmest believer of God will accept evolution as the origin of life and survival of the fittest is the order of the day. Evolution is the simplest, as well the most complicated process the Earth has seen. Its a transformation of one life form to another. Favorable conditions, you stay, and when its unfavorable, pack your bags. A meteor strike, increased temperature and dinosaurs wiped out from the surface of our planets. And a lot more just disappeared, just like that. We did not kill them all. They disappeared.

And then, now thinking of endangered species, Did we do something for what they are today? No or well, maybe. Like humans, all other living things need favorable conditions to sustain. In the process of creating their own favorable conditions, Men might have disturbed others. Yes, in fact. Men have peeped their heads into those territories which are not theirs. they killed whales for food and now cry to save them. They switch off lights to make the Earth cooler. Men, over the years, have learnt to posses this insane courage, to think themselves as the saviour of our planet. In fact, their existence has become one of the unfavorable conditions for the survival of others.

Men have in this venture forgot the fact that they are one more species on this planet, that is only going to leave some shit back for the next species to research. Until this happens, there will be a group killing things, and there will be a group saving them. Both fiddling with Nature. Not letting her what she does the best. Creation and Destruction.

All the best to those who are trying to save those endangered species. No one is gonna do more harm than they can. And to all those, who care for other living beings, learn to take care of yourselves. You are no more than a collection of calcium and fat.
