How did real Jesus look like?

I have always liked history, not simply because, it lets me learn about my forefathers, but because, it lets me to face mysteries. Our forefathers did not have enough tools to record everything (We do put in everything. My blog is a typical example. I am afraid, what our descendants are gonna look up for mysteries.). And one of the greatest mysteries they left us, is about the greatest man in History. Sitting in one corner of a small house,in a city, in India, does not give me a chance to prove scientifically his physical looks. By no means, I also want to do that. I don't worry, if Jesus was white or black, had a short or long hair. I am going to look for logical explanations for his soul's look.

I first heard the story of Jesus, when i was young, even before i had learnt the mechanisms of human reproduction or the meaning of virgin. When I knew both, I started analyzing the bible. Well, I may not be a expert biologist, but at least to my knowledge, a virgin can never give birth. Certainly, someone unmarried or a divorcee can. Mary could have been any one of these. But, not a virgin. Joseph could be Jesus' real father. I don't want to strip Mary of her dignity, by calling her an adulteress, as some books claim.

Suddenly, in the next page of the bible, Jesus is 10 years old, sitting in a parliament, among intellectuals. He is portrayed an intellectual too. All wonder his intelligence in such a small age. Well, we do have a lot of kids, outperforming great intelligent in today's World. Jesus could have been the first to be recorded.

Phoo.....! Magic ! Jesus seems to disappear, both from the bible and the World, in his teen ages. Then he appears back, he does some so-called miracles. For instance, Walking on water. If he really did that, he can be called one of the best illusionists. Lot of men have done some great illusions like, disappearing a plane, statue of liberty, floating in air, walking through the great wall of china and a hell lot more. Edward Norton could have had Jesus in mind, when he played Eisenhower. In fact, both did illusions for Love.

Healing of the wounds of the affected. Simple common sense will tell you that, he had some knowledge about medicinal herbs. He could have practised medicine. Well, one more job in hand. A doctor. Then, can a doctor, raise the dead? This miracle turns me dumb. Again, our forefathers could have been ignorant of unconsciousness and could have mistook it for death. Jesus, probably being a practitioner, should have known about this. A good Doctor indeed.

Well, the fish, the bread and the wine miracle. A cook. Certainly not impossible. Every one can not bake flour into bread, cook fish or convert grapes to wine. If cooking is a miracle(it is to me, a certain extent), then definitely Jesus could have done some. The Bible itself confesses that, he was a carpenter by profession and a teacher/preacher by passion.

An illusionist, a doctor, a cook, a carpenter and a preacher. Simply, one hell of a human. Then finally the cross. Let us understand that, he was not the first to be executed or crucified. Death sentence is not a modern invention. It (lawfully or otherwise) has been a punishment, even before civilizations were born. Most of the important forward thinkers of their time were executed(or, did they become more important after they were executed? A debatable question, which will end up with no verdicts). Jesus, could well be one among them.

Looking into all these, Jesus, looks to me more like a HUMAN than DIVINE. If you believe him a human, he was certainly well above par. If you consider him divine, he is definitely at the bottom. Walking on water, is no Divine's job !

Well, When I come to the conclusion of this article, I wonder why, men do not want, such a great being, included in their race ! I am an Hindu by birth, an atheist by choice and I am proud to believe, I share something in common with this great Being, by being a HUMAN !
