Earth is the Centre of our Solar System !
Yes, you read it right. But, before you jump to any conclusions, let me make clear that, Galileo was right, when he said, "Sun is the centre of our Solar System". It is in fact true. But, only physically. But in another perspective, I am right. When it comes to the amount of activity going on, Earth is definitely the centre.
Then, is the Sun for the Earth or the Earth for the Sun? A question that may come dashing into your mind. You may say, my class II geography teacher, told me Earth revolves around the sun.
So the Earth is for Sun. But imagine, Sun without Earth. It will just be a giant ball of Helium and Hydrogen, foolishly spinning around itself. The planets would have looked even more foolish, revolving around a jobless sun, jobless themselves. But suddenly, introduce Earth into its orbit. The sun has job, 24 hours a day. It has to help plants with their photosynthesis, provide all living beings with heat and light(free of cost), has to help Earth in creating seasons by adjusting its intensity, help water life-cycle in evaporation to produce rain. In some countries it has to dry clothes and bake bricks. It has to help to keep, population in control by helping skin cancer and other such diseases. It has to provide job opportunities to scientists, ozone healers and a hell lot. Now will you ask me, if the Earth is for the Sun?
Let the Sun alone for sometime. At the first place, moon must thank the Earth for its existence. No Earth, no moon. At least Sun has some jobs, what does moon have? Reflect light? It would have gone down in history as a lump of rock(without a single drop, or worse, a trace of water), until humans dreamt it as a hangout.
And those poor planets. Totally inhabitable and unsuitable for any kind of activity. Nothing moves on them, except them, until we decided to do so. We have given some dignity to these poor fellows, by researching them and putting on them some movable objects(yet we have to move them also). Added to this insult, was one of them being removed from the list. And who knows, your grandchild may correct you when you say there are 9 planets in the Solar System. Hey grandpa, "There is only one, Our Earth".
And those meteoroids and asteroids. There is no point in talking about them, until you want to shoot them with a missile or something.
But one fact has to be acknowledged. All are capable of making our Earth inactive. So it is better, if we respect them as what they are. Human life is similar. You may be special to you and your loved ones, but you have to respect them for what they are. Everyone is Unique and has a role to play. That role is not written by God, but by US !
